About the Role
The POS Tech Support Associate plays a critical role in our operations, serving as the initial point of contact for our clients. This position involves providing technical support, guiding system setups, and ensuring the smooth operation of our POS systems. Selected candidates will undergo a paid training program designed to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role.
Responsibilities
- – Serve as the first line of support for client inquiries and technical issues related to our POS systems.
- – Escalate complex issues to higher-level technical teams as needed.
- – Keep accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback.
- – Guide customers through problem-solving processes for system troubleshooting.
- – Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our product offerings, technical aspects, and support policies.
- – Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications
- G.C.E. Advanced Level qualification or equivalent; further education or certifications in Information Technology or related fields is preferred.
- – Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle technical issues.
- – Excellent communication skills in English and [Sinhala/Tamil].
- – Customer-oriented attitude with a focus on providing exceptional service.
- – Experience in technical support or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
Training Program
- – Duration: 3 Months
- – Format: Combination of online modules and on-site hands-on training
- – Focus Areas: Comprehensive product training, troubleshooting practices, customer service excellence, and familiarization with our proprietary software.
- – Goal: Equip participants with the skills and knowledge to effectively address and resolve client queries and technical issues.
